BACK ATTACK – JUMP THE SHOULDER ARMBAR
Here are some things to keep in mind step by step. Give this pictorial a quick view before you watch the video.
#1: The primary attack is always going to be the choke, using a Kimura Grip.
#2: The primary method is going to be to control the wrist, and fall to the weak side.
#3: Pull your arm out. Bring it across to create a frame against your opponent’s neck.
#4: Come back to controlling your opponent’s wrist as well as your own wrist.
#5: Your opponent will anticipate you bringing your leg over their head. They’ll most likely catch your ankle, pushing it to the ground and coming up to their knees.
The chances of finishing the arm from this position are going to be very tough. Watch the video to pick up where and when you would use the method ‘Jump the Shoulder’ to finish the armbar. Make sure to give it a like and subscribe to our YouTube channel.
